Setbacks

Ongoing setbacks have made me uncomfortable, especially with myself. To some, through setbacks,God (or nature) are testing us. if we are fortunate, we will triumph over the challenges. the unlucky ones may curse the tough predicament that he faced. "every actions are in vain. there are no way to escape from the bad luck," they might say. but they forget, they are not supposed to escape for the first place. they need to face the problems head on. unless the problems are settled, they will not be able to move on. be it a win or a defeat, moving on the new challenge is more beneficial. the outcome from recent setback or triumph will give us the lesson. but only to those who seek for them

Slips

Life is a one way journey. I wish I could return to the past and correct some blunders that I made. Costly mistakes. Irreparable slips. The errs that shapes who I am.

I really want to learn from my mistakes. But, often I do not know where to start. Clueless. Aimless. This often makes me thinks the damages from the past are permanent.

Perhaps, if I end up in a 'right' circumstance, I can bring my fallen soul up from the bottomless hole. It might be in the form of right advice, meeting the right persons or getting the right opportunity.

At the end of the day, I have to be content of who I am. If I don't, I will 'suffer' from regretting the slips at every second.

Of Judgement day

If am not mistaken, from Islamic perspective, Judgement Day will come after a period of prosperity following the death of Dajjal (anti-christ) at the hand of prophet Isa (Jesus). Every one of us will be judged based on deeds that we have done whilst we are alive.

I am curious to know what other religions perspective regarding Judgement day. Others might not give a damn and think life ends at the time of death.
